''Mignonette'' is a 2004 album by The Avett Brothers. It was named after an English yacht which sank off the Cape of Good Hope, leaving the crew of four stranded on a lifeboat. The cabin boy, Richard Parker, was killed and eaten by the others, two of whom were later put on trial and convicted of murder (see Regina v. Dudley & Stephens).〔(Review by Andy Turner for Country Standard Time )〕 Nautical themes and metaphors of cannabalism can be found on tracks "Complainte D'Un Matelot Mourant" and "Salvation Song". ==Track listing== #"Swept Away" (Sentimental Version) - 4:14 #"Nothing Short of Thankful" - 3:26 #"The New Love Song" - 4:04 #"At the Beach" - 4:09 #"Signs" - 3:42 #"Hard Worker" - 2:05 #"Letter to a Pretty Girl" - 3:18 #"Please Pardon Yourself" - 4:08 #"Pretty Girl at the Airport" - 4:58 #"Pretty Girl from Cedar Lane" - 3:21 #"Causey Commentary" - 1:02 #"One Line Wonder" - 4:46 #"The Day That Marvin Gaye Died" - 3:10 #"SSS" - 4:06 #"Swept Away" - 3:53 #"A Gift for Melody Anne" - 4:01 #"Complainte D'Un Matelot Mourant" ("Lament of a Dying Sailor") - 5:03 #"Salvation Song" - 4:48 #"Signs" - 4:08 #"Laser Pants" - 0:39 *Some versions of the album incorporate tracks 19 & 20 into track 18 as hidden tracks. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Mignonette (album)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
